From Bethlehem To Calvary Poem by james watkin

From Bethlehem To Calvary

This God in the man-child;
This grand paradox.
This calm, if unworldly
Smiled light doted on.
Heard lisped: ' Take this meekness
For your salvation'.

This beat, broken life-form;
This great sacrifice;
This Love bled out, defeats
All outcomes to grasp.
'This offering, pure lamb's
Hearts, again enclasp'.
