Frightened Onlookers (To Ceasar's Demise) Poem by james watkin

Frightened Onlookers (To Ceasar's Demise)

Death, you have made your point.
In determining
Who takes priority
O'er each fear life in.

Whom the last word on it
Prooves has: Pride's fall!
With red-stained thumb, gloating
To remind, and glad
Sliding back through our mad
History's roll-call.
