Friendship Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Friendship

Rating: 5.0

Hey, my special friend
I hear you in the wind
I feel your spirit within
You've touched my soul
Within your rock and roll
Now we're in the toll

I see your sad eyes
In my lyin' eyes
Asking for the whys

I feel your pain
Of such great disdain
Maybe I'm insane

I touch the spirit within
Feeling my soul crushing
Knowing you were winning

I feel the wind blowing
Speaking to my soul within
Knowing that I'm now winning

Every time I feel your empowering wind
I thank God for having had you as my one true friend
Every time I feel my soul stirring and searching
I listen closely to your answers in the wind blowing

Every time that I feel my spirit dying
I'm tasting life knowing that I'm really winning
But I'm still tasting life
Fighting through all the strife

And you've stopped tasting life
Thanks to destiny's knife

May destiny's sharp double-edged knife
Reunite us in the afterlife
