FRIENDS

It's joy to wake and know
That everything is as before
True friends, still there
To love, bear and care
Friends who walked the length
Giving counsel and strength
Who stood beside in moments low
And made precious moments glow
Who as candles lit my nights
Who cheered, kept friendship's delight
Who understood my trials and plight
Friends who'd always be part of my life
