We are delighted to have true friends in life but it is not easy to define a true friend. The poet has done exactly the same for those who want to decode their friendship. Thanks & Congrats. They are there when the world is cruel They are precious and oh so rare Friends are worth their weight in gold

Nice poem. Having good friends certainly makes life easier and better. But true happiness and fulfillment always comes from within...Congrats on being poet of the day!

Friends are worth their weight in gold real friends are neither bought or sold they wish you the best and help to be the best treasure in life you'll ever see .......Yes, these are the best qualities of best friends that you have narrated in perfect manner. Excellent phraseology. Many thanks dear Dee, keep the ball rolling.

Not our parents, nor our siblings, neighbors, teachers, co-workers, are ours for the choosing...ahhh but friends, they are what we hand pick to enrich our lives. Beautiful gifts we give ourselves, that time should not tarnish, if polished with a loving touch. Exquisite write.....PEACE

A beautiful poem Dee. The value of true friendship has no price tag or label on it. A friend in need is a friend indeed. One good friend is better than a hundred acquaintances. Enjoyed.

Wonderful words Dee expressed from your heart. So true yet true friends that give there all are rare. There are times when friends are there because you have been the one giving when you stop they are no longer there. I will add these to my favourites. Cheers

Friends are worth their weight in gold real friends are neither bought or sold they wish you the best and help to be the best treasure in life you'll ever see... Can anyone describe friends in a better way? No doubt good friends are one's greatest treasure! But all those who show themselves to be friends, needn't be! There are 'friends' who stab us from the back! Enjoyed this beautifully rhyming poem, Dee!
