Great write. Rich in description. The memories never leave us. You have paid a beautiful tribute to your friend here. A day in the midst of nature with a dear friend is a treasure one keeps to the depths of heart always. A perfect 10.
Beautiful memories presented here of you and your friend, may be rest in peace. Thanks for sharing.
Very nice - memories and a beautiful place deserves poetry.
While I might be too young to fully relate to your poem, dear Dimitrios, I certainly can appreciate the beauty of this elegy. I remember spending time with my grandfather whom I lost in 2013. He and I spend a lot of time in the fields as he was a farmer. Now every time I see fields, I remember those earlier days, holding his hands and walking in the lands full of trees. Those fields remained but my granpa passed away. And indeed, the world will live on, but it would never have the SAME promenades of granpa and me. Beautiful poem dear. My heart goes out to you on your loss.
Τhank you my dear Souren.Keep close ties with relatives, friends. For people you meet every day have a kind smile. Feelings of a kind heart make the world we live in a paradise, nothing else.
The present elegy for my friend George Giotakis traces the differences between human soul and and its material environment, what the main substance is of our existence.A tribute to kind feelings, the friendship.
A remarkable poem in form of epistle, and a great dedication celebrating friendship.
In the picture my village and down the river Arachthos were we used to go on foot so often in summertime.
