Friend Or Foe? Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Never judge a book by its cover,
A kind looking person,
Can suddenly turn into another.
We never know what lies beneath,
And so many people just lie through their teeth!
A tough looking person,
Can turn out to be kind,
Show true spirit and suddenly you find,
That they have a heart of gold,
A loving hand to hold,
It's so difficult to find a true friend,
But there's always that one,
Who's with you to the end.
