Freedom Or Nothing Poem by Andrew Matthews

Is it natural to want to die?
When you do not know why you want to die?
To die an error in lifes plan
To live as an mistake at birth
to live a life of no worth?

I exist...I exist nonetheless
I have no other recourse than to exist...
Take the punishment time hands down
To become the backbone of this frown.

Freedom for I yearn
Beyond this life that we learn
Toward the goal of harmony
that flits and wavers in front of our eyes.

It is natural to die as to live
So much easier to forgive
Than to live without freedom I'd
Rather die than live without that.
