I found my mind pondering away in strange lands
Tree branches were twisting like the veins in my hands
Twenty-one reasons to never, ever leave
Infinite innocent hearts, lost in time, will never be retrieved
Pairs of feet, pairs of lips, kissed the same forgotten creek
Tremors in the soil still interrupt whenever I speak
Everything just sinks beneath the skin of the sky
Freedom is outlawed, but we can never die
