Roots of all evils is in extremism of thoughts. It's a great write my friend.......................10
One actually desire for desirelessness which is the freedom itself. Not noticing the desire-less non-state of freedom one achieve during the fulfillment a desire, one ignorantly plunge into the fulfillment another desire born of the sense-objects, endlessly. Caught in the quagmire by just changing the label from independence, material sufficiency, fear of death, etc; finally one starts looking inwards for it. Well said Madthilji with the eloquence.
Groovy write. Very nicely envisioned. Thanks for sharing.
This poem sets one thinking deep! What are our cravings.... What should be our priorities..... Will wealth and fortune give us lasting peace and happiness..... Should man seek to be freed from the clutches of death? The poem is an answer to all these questions and it suggests an answer.... to be freed is to be freed from wants.... the Buddhist philosophy! Great write!
This makes us analyse and research on the meaning of the word freedom.man is never satisfied.. Sad but true .........10
