All are born without religion, Upon them it is soon imposed And with each the mantle of prejudice That from every religion flows. xlent.
I have to say, it can be a blessing or a curse. Freedom from terror? Not on this side of eternity, methinks.
No land escapes this disease of the mind, this line says it all, in this very powerful poem. A really fantastic write.
It is still extremely difficult, actually unfathomable, for me to absorb the gigantic atrocities of September 11th...your words echo what I hold to be truth...and in your write, I found the ever present underlying fact that the teachings can alter what lessons the world might learn.
