The healing, the spirituality
all came from him,
nothing left undone
nothing left unspoken
the guide, the light was he;
distinct in blessings
truly engrossing in people's sufferings
curing the sick with prayers,
giving hopes to the unhopeful;
reviving faith in lost hearts;
uniting people with grace
connecting to people with his compassion;
everyday, every hour devotion
to God and to mankind;
raising voices in togetherness
praising God and His blessings
seeking help and mercy from God
interceding on behalf of those
in troubles and illnesses;
people who got cured felt relieved,
renewed and repowered in faith
by a priest called Father Conceicao,
so certain in offering compassion to all
irrespective of their poverty or possessions;
can tears ever express the pain
every Goan will feel for losing you?
You were the embodiment of dedication
to all those who gathered around you;
you were the lamp of peace and harmony
you were the heart that wept for others
you were the tear that rolled down
with others who cried near you;
O' Father, today how will tears
not roll down our own cheeks
when on that celestial journey
you have departed
leaving your love in million particles
in all the hearts that you cared for
and healed so selflessly?


True Story Of Fr Conceicao: (Excerpt from Goan Newspaper O Herald O dt.8th February 2021)
Young and old alike, under the leadership of Fr Conceicao D'Silva, prayed together. He started Wednesday prayer service at the Ambelim chapel. From a handful of people, the number rose to hundreds and thousands. The village of Ambelim became a centre of prayer and solace. When he set his foot in Mandur, he started the Friday service in honour of Jesus & Mary. People continue to pour in large numbers with their problems for counselling, prayer, healing and deliverance.
Through his homily he brought alive the existence and goodness of God before the minds of thousands of devotees. With the blessing of the Almighty he changed the lives of many, including people addicted to drugs, alcohol, etc. Definitely it is the fruit of his prayer and his commitment to work and fulfill the call of his Lord.
