An assertion of freedom in the face of male chauvinism. To treat women merely as an object is not acceptable. Every individual must be granted freedom to choose their path. Gender discrimination is regressive thinking.
Mdm Fahmida, you are one of the most celebrated poets of the sub-continent. It is because you have always challenged the age old prejudice of a male dominated society towards their women folk. There has been some change over the years but much needs to be done in this direction.
