not unlike you
I wanna be free
Won't you
show me the deal
In the Big Time.
If you don't have somethin'
better to do
I want more than a license to play
your fool
Spin your fortune's wheel
not live as a motherless child, .
taste, touch, and feel.
Can I borrow a little more of your big time
to heal.
Break into
An easy rhyme,
in the big time
Spin the big wheel.
Show me what's real.
Hit the back roads on,
a Greyhound Bus,
Hook up
with an experienced road partner
to watch my back..
live near the beaten trail
by the railroad tracks
float our living message
in a bottle out to Sea
whoever reads the parchment
will find a treasured elegy
of how we lived and died
And how we let our fortunes fly.

A wonderful piece of 10+++++ Sure you don't need me to tell you how good this write is. Very intriguing as Mr. Big Time and Greyhound Bus used as metaphors I think ;) Just found the safety re Greyhound is an issue, right?
