Fortune Seeker Poem by Hell 'Farya

Fortune Seeker

Rating: 5.0

I stood by the water bank,
The vast earth before my eyes,
I sensed the massive flat earth,
They looked to me likewise.
Gold on the pathway
But I used the desertpass
I mined for precious stones
But stood atop earth of diamond.
My sweat broke and I cried.
I scrambled for my tools and bag,
Another day, I promised,
Rarities by the path,
So I used the stony way back.
'So barren, Holy Màríà,
land so barren.' I sang.
Blame me not, I was but blind.
