Left me
Alone on this island of loneliness

To drown in an ocean of salty tears
Left the taste
Of bitterness
Forever in my mouth
You've taught me
The danger of trusting
Anyone or anything
You've shown me
The pain and heartbreak
It can bring
You promised me
Love eternal
But your words
Proved false
Baby you have
Forsaken me
But still
I love you
And I forgive you
