Former Beauty's Preoccupation Poem by james watkin

Former Beauty's Preoccupation

Woe's confidence-eroding
Blurry deplored.
Gaze beyond this glassed image
Of self; and muse.

An expression of God! In
What true reflects
Of Love, Love-worthy brilliance.
Mornings diffuse!

For this, does light up inside
Even that hope
One, a soul, as deep ogling
Could not refuse!
