Walking down the country lane
I saw trees in flower all the way
Gleaming gems among emerald leaves
A medley of colors on fabulous display

This was such an interesting read, it drew me in bit by bit. I was pretty surprised by the turn of events as well. Initially when it ended without saying where the path lead I felt as if we were left hanging. Then I realized that's the best way to end it, because in life we never know where the path will end or where we'll wind up. Having the determination to continue into the unknown is the true message here. This is, once again, another brilliant write! ~Nika
A fantastic flowing poem. Sometimes we have to keep moving forward no matter what we have to face.
As long as there is a stipulated reaching point, you are on the right track... Quitting in the middle is not advisable though many a person has returned to safety later.... A little late though, you have begun to dare the tracks known and unknown and the recall of each experience here amounts to a great exhortation for the stranded youngsters. A fine poem indeed Madam.
Very inspiring and insightful indeed...........Valsa.........the path you took to abound with beauty and peace but it lasted least flinging weariness yet listening to inner voice for eternal peace..................
Sometimes when we are forced upon the paths which we would not like tread, we beat an hasty retreat. I appreciate your strong will and determination to continue treading the same path despite adversities so as to reach the farther end. Here, I am also reminded of Robert Frost poem 'The Road Not Taken.' An excellent poem with a rich panorama of thoughtful colours.
wow! nothing but a pure pathfinder along with Robert Frost's 'Stopping by woods.... an immediate reminder. an incarnation into a keralite landscape with the poetic soul of ValsaJi pounding in pursuit of the untold many, i should conclude. (i would love your thoughts on my review as well, as there is more to reveal)
.......This poem is full of poetic gems-Alliteration, metaphors, similes, imagery................ You remind me of Robert Frost, though he is a marvel, I liked this piece more than road not taken.............. I perhaps don't know why, But I guess its the beauty that it holds in those magical words, the way transits rapidly, the way your will guides your way, and the way rhymes go hand in hand....................................................... a splendid write again!
Once you start you need to see the end of it even if there are hardships on the way. This belief leads to success. Beautifully rendered in the poem. Thank you.
nice poem madam. But giving up half way was not my choice.. a positive thought...like it
A beautiful expression of how you would feel when you are one with nature. It reminds of Robert Frost's, No time to stand and stare...
on the forked path, take the one your inner voice says. lovely poem with an end but no ends.
A beautiful poem, Valsa, and a nicely perceived and constructed one, as well. I always enjoy reading your posted work. G.
Enjoying the serenity of scene we feel glad. We feel the movement of emotion. Beauty motivates us gradually. Obeying the inner voice we should proceed ahead. Travel experience is beautifully penned in this excellent poem...10
