What makes this piece special, I think, is that at one point you address the postage stamp directly, as is sometimes done in an ode. I think the technical term is a 'conceit, ' but I'd have to get my reference book to make sure. That comes as a nice surprise, and there's something whimsical and charming about missing one's stamp. I like the sound and rhythm of the last line, but I'm not sure I quite understand your meaning. I like the poem a lot.
