birth day wish, thanks. I invite you to read my poems and comment.
Sometimes we are more forgetful then we should be, you know how many of those kind of dates I remember. I have 13 brothers and sister. I have one father and mother. I have both three step mothers, and step fathers. I have four cousin that I know, the rest I don't I have three aunts I know about. I have two uncles. I have two grandfathers and grandmothers. I have 10 nephew and nieces that I know about. Sometimes there is to many to remember them all. Sometimes it is hard to prioritize. Who is important? Who is not? What gives me the right to make that judgment? Maybe my head does it for me. Maybe some are stronger connections then others. A forgotten birthday isn't as bad as a forgotten birth or death itself. I've seen them both. Cheers to your poem and I hope someone remembers even if not everyone does.
I love this poem, I too have had birthdays that was not remembered. But then I don't always remember other peoples birthdays that are close to me either. It all sort of balances out. Just be thankful that we have one. A good write.
