FORGIVENESS IS A GREAT GIFT

Forgiveness is a great gift
With no activation fee
For the cost of the use thereof
Was paid for at Calvary
Where love poured out exponentially
Praise God what love of God
Forgiveness that prays even for it's enemies
That's only divinely understood

And love poured out at Calvary
Has changed so many lives
When repentance takes place and faith is received
We're in for a real surprise
For God's great love through His Spirit
Takes up residence
And we're no longer who we once were
With sin no more a romance

For we've been freed from sin's dread power
And what a relief that it is
The difference between day and night
A real separation of bliss
For joy that comes really out of this world
Has become a chief delight
Having forgiveness is a great gift
With Jesus as my new Life!

Hallelujah, what a Saviour!
