Forgiveness Poem by Zane Lewis

Forgiveness

I think I was to rash
I could only see the gash
I wasn't looking around
I was only staring you down

I could only see the pain
I wasn't looking at what I had to gain
I can know see
I'm looking at what's right in front of me

The pain is leaving
I'm no longer seething
This is the last of you out of my me
I'm moving on, and I now see

I have but one last thing you'll never see
I forgive you, for all it should be
Cause after all the forgiveness isnt for you it's for me
