Forgive Me Poem by Thomas Martinez

Forgive Me

Let the love dwell in the silence,
And Not to come to my ardent lips.
And the pangs of guilt to guide me,
Till the time my heart stops beats.
Hope for Tears to cleanse my heart
From all the committed sins,
To make me purest once again
And to love with more warm breaths.
Let the bright memories locked up,
To only be opened by a lost key.
And paint all my pictures in white,
To pour again some colors in me.
But before the farewell comes in time,
Hear me out for one last plea,
May I ask you to be kind enough?
May I ask you to forgive me?

Forgive me for my Love; I spared
In the name of our sacred ties.
Forgive me for my Care; I shared
For the sake of my own solace.
Forgive me for Intrusions and Dares,
To find your sweet smile and relish.
Forgive me for all Wrongs and Fears,
It is my honesty, to pay the price.
Forgive me for my Longing; I show
To not lose you in twisted words,
Forgive me for the Promise; I made
To fight off my own twisted minds.
Forgive me for my Beliefs; I put
For a great fellowship I desire.
Forgive me for not to Hate you yet
As you live still in me my Dear.
