Forget You Not
I walked away that sunny day,
Never to see your face,
It's been one long eternity,
My life's so out of place,
Mistakes made in an instant,
Regret it haunts the mind,
I made the wrong decision,
When I left you behind,
Your eyes I see so clearly still,
In dreams I hold you tight,
I'll forever love you,
Morning, noon and night.
And as I lie awake again,
I go back to that time,
To that moment when I met you,
Sweet memories so fine.
