Forget..
Forget the pain that haunts you,
it's something in the past.
Your life is all before you,
trust life and make it last
Forget the words that pierced you
and broke your heart each day.
Remember those who love you,
these are the ones who stay
Forget the past, it's over
it's not the place to live.
Move on and just keep moving,
and when you can.. forgive
Forgive yourself for caring
your futures waiting yet.
So never look behind you
You've nothing to regret.
The present's now, so dream it
you're master of your fate
you closed the door to bad times
now open futures gate.
Lodigiana the brilliance in your writing never ceases to amaze me. You have an incredible gift that I and many others are so fortunate to experience and enjoy. I am always so shocked when anyone likes my work..but totally thrilled when fellow poets such as yourself whom I admire so much, seem to enjoy it.
