Forever More Poem by Lesa MRK

Forever More

What am I?
Just a little thing;
A tiny speck,
Or a searing dot,
On the horizon of your unhappiness?

No, I am more...
More than a tiny speck,
Or that tiny dot,
More than what has been said,
Or even undone...
I am Me.

My children think I am more,
More than what little you would have me be.
I am so much more...
Than you could ever see.
For the battles I have faught have shaped me;
Scarred and have raped me...
And you never seemed to embrace,
Or understand
My agony.

I am not the same as I once was,
Nor can I be,
The one you want me to be;
For I am only Me-
Alive within my naked glory...
In the truth of all things I am
And all I've become,
From all I've undergone;
Which has shaped me into being.

I am far more than what you see,
More than what outwardly shows.
Definately more than your judgement,
Or your silent condemnation.
For true friends who do not judge,
Claim I am more than your hatred.

Forevermore, I will be more,
Forever being me-
Just me, I will be,
Nothing more...
Nothing less....
No longer a tiny dot
Upon the blue
Of your unhappiness.
Just me,
Forevermore.

So go from me now,
Closing the door upon my unforgiveness....
And take with you this key-
This key which is buried in you;
Forevermore.....
Forever Me.
Forever Free.
Forever MORE.
