Oh! I like this. I like it standing here alone.... but I sense it could be part of an epic book written in verse telling the tales of olden times and bravery true. I like your word choices - every line has such power....10+++++++
Susan, you are so intuitive! You're not going to believe it, but this verse is part of a long narrative poem that I wrote in Spanish called 'Los Regentes de las Nubes' ('The Regents in the Clouds') comprised of 7 sections each begining with a short verse. Funny enough, only last week our own Bri Edwards and I were talking about long narrative poems because he sent me one he wrote and I mentioned to him that I had one in Spanish that I might translate into English one of these days! So, yes, you are amazing, but I already knew that...
