Forbidden Poem by Sheryl Barison

Forbidden

Aware not to what I feel.
A friend ever since.
Never thought we could be strangers.
In each other's arms, couldn't stand still.

Sweet gently breeze freezing.
Beneath this night lying.
Two souls in the dark searching,
For the feelings they kept within.

Feelings that were hidden,
Revealed as the kiss deepen.
In every caress burning.
Thirst; as the wine fulfilling as you sip in.

Can't resist the feeling.
Heart surrender,
Both tired of pretending.
Concede the longing.

Dawn is breaking,
Flame still within.
Spread easily into my veins,
As your arms wrap me and whisper my name.
