For The Sake Of Mahsa Amini Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

For The Sake Of Mahsa Amini

Rating: 5.0

She was young and immersed in beauty with the smile of hope
The splendour of her Kurish eyes is now forever closed
For she was taken down because of her hijab
The morality police she died of an underlined condition
But the world knows it's untrue
Thousands of women protest for justice
Against the oppression from the Perisan clerics
By cutting their hair and burning their hijabs
Losing their lives as they are raising their voices in union
Allah, don't silence them as you lift her spirit
Free them with an opened heart
And send justice and peace to all

Persecution of women is the most evil thing a country can do, whether it's wearing a hijab or denying young girls an education to get to university. A good poem LeeAnn that needed to be written.5*

Justice and peace be with those who raise their voice against the murderers. Who use the name of Allah for their ulterior ends, malafides. Mahsa Amini, May her spirit live forever! Thank You, LeeAnn for sharing. Top score and Myfav

No human being should have to die because their state dictates how they should live. This women is the face of a thousand others who have died because of outmoded ways of society. A wonderful tribute, may she and those live on in those who pick up the fight.!
