FOR THE LENGTH OF DAYS

For a length of days, I thank you, Lord
For you have set our time
That we may come to know You, Lord
And live a life sublime,
To enjoy the power to pray
And wait upon your will
With great anticipation wait
Enthralled with 'Peace be still'

A life you've given to celebrate
Just who You are each day
And render back our thankfulness
You are the only Way
Not a God of confusion
As to where, we should turn
But You've left us Your Word as testimony
To which our hearts should yearn

O praise You Lord O praise You
You've come as Christ the Son
And have given us a genuine token
Of Your love for everyone
Now of great significance
The breath we breathe each day
A reminder of that wondrous promise
You shall return one day!
