For The Late Sister Sheila Chapman - Trotman Poem by PHIL WINTER

For The Late Sister Sheila Chapman - Trotman

Sister Sheila! Sister Sheila!
Where can we find you?
We call your name,
But there is no more of the physical you!
Yet we feel your essence all around us!
We long to see your gleeful smile,
To listen to your kindly chat,
And hear your lovely voice,
Singing the holy songs in church!
We miss the many outings
You arranged for us
To the district of Hague and elsewhere,
We miss you, Sister Sheila!
Death has taken you rest!
We know your soul resides,
In some cozy corner of heaven,
Looking down upon us!
We will always remember you Sister Sheila
Do rest peacefully,
In the loving arms of Almighty God!
PHIL WINTER.
