Your poem is strainghtforward and I like it. I tried to write one from the girl's brown eyes looking out, 'A Single Rose.' It's hard enough to figure out what I want, let alone what they want. But you have given it a good try. You last four lines are a strong close. I hope you get a chance to read it to her. Tom
