For The Furry Squirrels Poem by Unnikrishnan Sivasankara Menon

For The Furry Squirrels

Rating: 5.0

From our little apartment in city
I took to village my kitty
From tiny city flat she broke free
She ran up the tall mango tree
Not for sweet mangoes ripe
But for the furry squirrels, yipe!
But scared from the tree to alight
Though is she, in fact, very light.
And did I bring her a ladder tall
So happy shall be the kitty gal.
