(ten-syllable poem) Cynthia Buhain-Baello I thought I would try out this type of verse With a line of ten syllables mellow I find I've to curse and ever re-hearse My dear Cynthia Buhain-Baello You must constantly re-arrange wordings Though it is not hard to say what you want They're resisting, insistently, herdings But I've acquired a new form I can flaunt One more quatrain and a Two-liner and I have an English sonnet sorry I couldn't find the verse this related to.

Thank you Wes Vogler, this was a poetry challenge in a poetry group at a social network site - we were to w write a poem on a given photo. I chose the cinquain form. The ten syllable form was also a challenge much like the 17 syllable monoku. I like sort forms of poetry where one presents a complete thought in very few words. One particular poem was Drought (also from a photo challenge) . I wrote narrative poetry (Predator) and other long poems but sonnet is not my style. Each poet has his own style and we give each other that freedom to write as one chooses. Thank you.
