For She Was Just A Girl. Poem by Edward Jarl

For She Was Just A Girl.

A beloved girl she was,
Flourishing with popularity due to her charm and beauty
Brown typical eyes she had, yet they managed to entwine one's limerence

Her beige, silk-stocking hair was glorified for each, and every strand had its own trait.

Hands of an angel she had, round and suppled. Her touch sent any man or woman to safety and latibule

A deeper voice made her elegancy supreme. Her alluring tone had a contagious woodnote causing romantic agony for anyone who dared to speak amongst her presence.

Brimming with jealousy is what the other girls were, for her body fulfilled their dream. A slim and perfectly rounded build is what they wanted from her.

'You make me reduce to tears' is what she would hear, a phrase she never understood is what she kept near.

Delusions, it was like a trick up her sleeve.

For many secrets she had to whelve, keep them buried from anyone else.

Never under one's wings at the age of twelve nor given respect for the reason she would delve.

As she would leap from such heights, remarks would gleam

'you make me reduce to tears'
'you make me reduce to tears' is what she would hear.

She would shut her eyes and feel her falling twirl
But kept it quiet,

For she was just a girl.
