You said 'They never think of the animals'
The bears lost their home
As the eagles watching their nest being destroyed
They only report the human cost
And how the millionaires' homes become
An incoveniant build
Sometimes, I think you're right
Why have a house in the woods?
Can't they see they're the cause?
They ruin the dwelling of sincere creatures
As the fire spreads
Stop building yr houses on their land
And the destruction of the climate
Before there's nothing left to save
A fine tribute to a great man, whose mission should be that of us all.
The Japanese are buying up all real estate in North America and putting up golf courses or condiminiums. The Ameicans are buying up all real estate in Northern Canada to have fun in their cottages. Mother Earth is being ravaged for the pleasure of a few, while the rest have to suffer. Great poem!
If all could only read this and think twice, , , about the Harm they're causing the environment! ..
A Very heart moving poem! .. That's deeply powerful and touchingly written! .. And so true! ..
Very heartfelt with strong emotions. A forthright rendition set aside for deep reflective thought. Thanks for sharing and do remain enriched.
