I do remember you
From my athletic days,
My favorite Coach, Mr. Neil Moore!
You were there
Encouraging and fanning desire,
Into flames of athletic success!
You assisted me and others
To reach the glorious athletic peak!
You were fantastic as our coach!
Those early athletic days
Were lean and uncertain!
The picture was bleak and full of gloom!
For all of us
Seeking to become athletic champions!
But you motivated us!
You helped us to withstand the hardships!
Your actions and words of encouragement
Propelled us to great athletic heights!
And unimagined glory!
You played an invaluable role in my life!
The disciplined habits I developed under your watch
Have helped to make me who I am today!
I say more,
But a million thanks to you!
