For Megan Poem by Brett White

For Megan

Rating: 5.0

Megan, Megan... my heart's valedictorian,
I've adored you since our memories began.
A tomboy you've been since the very start,
Did I hug you the last time I saw you depart?
Thinking of you brings up my sunniest 8th grade days,
Your smile is more radiant than all the sun's rays.
Like the most graceful flower you have grown,
Your inner light, all others has outshone.
I admire you together or while alone,
Your value to me is so immeasurable, as to be unknown.
