For true love I would travel thousands of miles
Just for our joys and our smiles,
I would travel by car or by bus or by train
Or by boat or even by plane.
For true love I would travel the oceans so deep and wide
I would even travel against the tide,
I would then swim if I had to
For true love that is what I would honestly do.
For true love I would sail high in the skies
Just to look once again into my love's eyes,
I would happily go to any foreign land
So, once again I could just hold their hand.
For true love I would walk or run or hike
I would even take my bike,
I would take a rocky path or a forgotten trail
As long as my dream with my love would prevail.
For true love I would travel and go anywhere
For the one who I love and trust and give all my care,
For true love I would even fly to the moon and back
But, for you who lied and cheated I wouldn't cross a railroad track.
