For Lisa Marie Presley Poem by Richard Wlodarski

For Lisa Marie Presley

Rating: 5.0

Daughter of Elvis Presley
Had followed in his footsteps
Such great music in her blood
Just now stopped dead in its tracks

She had suffered so greatly
Losing her father early
Married to celebrity
Ended in such misery

Tragic death of her son
Suicide with a gun
Depression had set in
Her guilt fighting with sin

Fighting and sharing her grief
Through music and support groups
Buzzing on social media
Spirit with fire in her soul

Her spirit has returned Home
Welcomed by father and son
The angels guiding them all
To freedom and such great peace

First her father, then her son, and now, her. So much tragedy in that great family! Very happy that you love the poem so much that you've added it to your favourites. Greatly appreciated, Sylvia!

Great fitting tribute to the great artist, who survived the series of personal calamities one after the other. Her departure is a severe loss to the world of music.Thank You Richard. Top score.
