I have never written a poem for you before,
But if I could,
If I would,
And if I should,
I would tell you that you're my best friend.

You're there for me when I am sad,
Whenever I need a cuddle,
Whenever and wherever,
It's you, baby girl,
Right by my side, it's you...
Purring and full of joy.

I think about the day I found you,
And you found me.
You were lost and in need of a friend;
But you didn't know it was me-
The one who was lost most of all.
I will always need you more.
Yesterday, today, and forever.
