A nice tribute in poetical terms to someone who deserves it.
You speak for many of us in this evocation of the late and great Glenn Gould. He chose to play harpsichord music on the piano which put him in opposition to the PERIOD INSTRUMENT movement. In the long run it did not matter: his genius and commitment transcended other factors and we keep returning to his technically exacting but emotionally fulfilling performances. Your poem is a balanced view of his achievement - I fully embrace what you write and the spirit which animates it, Excelsior, Aphroditer!
