Snyder has an odd but original and tantalizing kick in his gallop. At times I think I don't like his poem but by the time I reach the end of it, I do like it and I will certainly not forget it.
What I came to say was, teach the children about the cycles. The life cycles. All other cycles. That's what it's all about, and it's all forgot." A very good poem. tony
