This poem drew comments from two people I know very well - Roseann Shawiak (one of my longest contacts here at PH) and Fabrizio Frosini (we have co-edited six e-books together and I've written extensive commentaries on all of his poems - I'm Fabrizio's personal LITERARY CRITIC!) . // There is effortless sincerity in this poem, which is bottom-line requirement in dealing with a soul-mate (You know the joke: An agent tells a rising rock star that SINCERITY is the most important quality he needs - If you can fake SINCERITY, man, you've got it made. Sic.) The concept of SOULMATES is similar to ROMANTIC LOVE: It's so hard to make those two experiences happen - they both involve precise timing, a stroke of good luck, the hand of Fate, courage, trust, risk-taking. But your poem leaves all of these prosaic things behind and just soars, and the SOUL-MATES fly together, effortlessly. As Roseann says, it's unconditional love being shared! !

Inspiring and heartfelt passion through an unconditional love being shared. Giving and taking, helping another through the darkness and turmoil of life, sparing nothing in this endeavor. Such a beautiful picture of soul mates, I truly enjoyed reading this poem. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
