For A Life Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

For A Life

The other side of joy's sorrow
In legal rights and fights
People want to break free-
The time isn't slowing down
Reflecting and introspecting
Making the most as a host
By breaking away from old
Old habits least wanted in life-
Is it a happy tune, what for...?
Dies a pregnant she elephant-
Hungry mutts and thirsty birds
Injured cattle distressed animals
Now, dying human beings finding
Saviours in highly motivated cases
Frustrated people rushing for a life!
