Very telling poem about the struggles of Africans, that the whole world needs know. Your writing is beautifully strewn with imagery laced in with a simplicity that Turkey tells the story you are conveying. I enjoyed your work. PEACE.

Great..I also love the literary work...It gives a feel that football is a way of life, yet you have hungry infants and the likes amidst the excitement how can you piece it! ! ! ! Goes perfect with is it 'day in the night' or is it 'night in the day'...

Good work but poverty is not synonymous with West Africa. It is like the air we breathe. It is everywhere. However, football is a major palliative to the pains of poverty in this part of the world.Interestingly, it has wiped away poverty from many families whose children play professional football all over the world. It is indeed ' food ball. You have handled the paradox so well. The most impressive lines are: 'Is it day in night! ' and finaly, 'Is it night in day! ' Great literary work!

Not only in SA, money is being wasted in our India as well...See IPL...millions and billions of bidding for players who r not worth...This is sad the money is being underutilized around the Globe...Beautiful Poem...Thought Provoking! !

A great comparative poem of 'South Africa celebrating' in contrast to 'Weeping west Africa' with its social annd economical woes. Like your title using the word 'Fever' it addresses both issue. this is a 10+++

Food ball fever Really ridiculous our afluent entertainment. Dark a bit below the light. Food ball fever brings night in the day while Honolulu to Michigan we are flying the winning foams of joy and Jesus. Master mind can craft such beauty with aesthetically marked an piece of art. Yes, not loud like slogans, but it has penetrated the heart of a reader. Well done poet. Keep your conscious high to touch the humanity with such the bold expression. Thank you much.
