Did I ever share this feeling inside?
I was deeply wounded; my heart opened wide.
Yet still, my love for you remains sincere.
Unchanged and steadfast, always near.
Whenever you're with me, doubts start to swell.
But when you're away, it's a living hell.
How could I forget the anguish and strife?
Without you, dear love, I have no life.
It's hard to accept this truth that's now real.
Knowing there's someone, it's hard to conceal.
I've learned to endure with you by my side.
Without you, my love, I'd prefer to hide.
Perhaps I'll bear this pain that I feel.
Rather than lose you, I'll strive to heal.
Letting you go would be living in vain.
So I'll hold on tight, despite all the pain.
