Food Chain Poem by Tony Adah

Food Chain

The wind lamely passed
Through the weed clogged water
A heron perches on the hyacinths
The crocodile bulges up the pond
Waiting for the heron
Who is waiting for the fish
And the fish waiting for the water
Who else the water is waiting for
We do not know.
