Folly Of Might Poem by Sasikala Kamandula

Folly Of Might

Samson's strength, an unbeaten might
It's a lion's roar, a devil's feast!
His Tangled locks, his life secret,
A weakness fired, his mystic's sight!

Delila's charm, a siren's subtle chaste,
Lured Samson in, with a treacherous light;
Her sweet whispers, a serpent's velvety hiss;
Broke his resolve, with a fatal kiss.

In love's dark night, his strength did fade
A hero, fallen, by a woman's shade;
For when yield to love's sweet deceit,
The greatest strength, can be the weakest defeat!
