Folly Of might Poem by Sasikala Kamandula

Folly Of might

Samson's strength, an unbeaten might
It's a lion's roar, a devil's feast!
His Tangled locks, his life secret,
A weakness fired, the his mystic's sight!

Delila's charm, a siren's subtle might
Lured Samson in, with a treacherous light
Her whispers sweet, a serpent's gentle hiss
Broke his resolve, with a fatal kiss

In love's dark night, his strength did fade
A hero, fallen, by a woman's shade
For when yield to love's sweet deceit,
The greatest strength can be the weakest defeat!
Fall of Might; Folly of Might! !
